For the past ten years I have been working on the promotion and publication of the archaeological and historic built environment of Essex. As a qualified graphic designer I have produced many exhibitions on a multitude of subjects all aimed at increasing the understanding and public awareness of the work of archaeologists, historic building consultants, museums, local groups and large organisations alike.
This has included writing, editing, proof-reading, photography and design through to completion. I am used to working with research teams, discussion groups, design companies and printers.
Exhibitions can either be one-offs for short duration or themed for longer runs and permanent installation. For examples of permanent exhibitions why not visit Cressing Temple where I designed and built the exhibitions in the Wheelwrights Shop, Forge, Stables, Well House, Bakehouse, Granary and the Court Hall?
I also designed and made the graphics panels for each of the County owned mills at Aythorpe Roding, Thorrington, Finchingfield, Stock and Mountnessing.
